Ubihere was recently selected for a $750,000 award from the AFWERX program to design and develop a digital dispatch and operator tracking solution for Air Force operations. The project focuses on incorporating Ubihere commercial technologies into a mobile and web-based solution to enable the real-time tasking, monitoring, and reporting of critical functions. Under the 12-month project, the team will develop a flexible software solution capable of operating effectively on a Samsung S20 for the operators and a web application for the dispatchers. In particular, the project will enable critical emergency management and critical national security operations for Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. Says JD Bourke, Ubihere’s Program Manager, “The solution we are developing for Minot AFB ensures the Air Force maintains operational effectiveness throughout any weather or environmental condition.”
At end of the project, the Team will demonstrate a hand-held prototype system that provides daily tasking to vehicle and equipment operators, tracks their movements throughout the day, allows them to document completion of assigned tasks, and provides periodic reporting of execution of any major weather or emergency event. The software solution is designed to allow for other event and operations activity management ranging from Security Forces through Emergency Management.
Eric Wagner, Executive Vice President of Ubihere, adds, “We are very excited about this project. It highlights the ability of the Department of Defense to digitize everyday activities which are still critical to our global operational readiness.”
